This is a room made for women who want to feel capable, the kind of capable that changes how you carry yourself outside the gym too. You’ll learn practical self-defense grounded in real jiu jitsu: how to stay calm, create space, and control a bigger opponent using leverage rather than force.
It’s women-only by design, so the learning curve feels safe from day one. Come as you are; leave stronger, steadier, and part of a community that shows up for each other.
Techniques proven under pressure, control, escapes, and distance management you can trust.
The strength you build here follows you off the mat, into every room you walk into.
Learn without self-consciousness, surrounded by women at every stage of the journey.
The women in this class are the reason so many of them stay. You won’t train alone.
Arrive 10 minutes early, we’ll welcome you and lend you a gi.
A warm, low-pressure warm-up with the group.
Learn a fundamental self-defense position, step by step.
Drill lightly with a partner. Rolling is always your choice, never required.
Women and teen girls (12+) of any fitness level, total beginners especially welcome. No athletic background needed, just the courage to begin.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:20–7:15pm, plus Friday mornings 9:15–10:00am. See the weekly schedule for the full picture.
