Membership

Membership Policies

We keep our policies clear so there are no surprises. Here’s the short version, followed by the details, all in plain language.

The Short Version

  • Membership pauses and cancellations require 30 days’ written notice.
  • If notice is submitted less than 30 days before the next payment, that payment still processes and your membership stays active through that paid period.
  • Founder Pricing stays protected while your membership remains continuously active.
  • Pauses are for real situations: injury, surgery, deployment, extended travel, moving, or significant family circumstances.
  • Talk to us when life happens. We’d rather work with you than make things difficult.
  • No food or drinks in the Kids Room.
  • Food and drinks belong in the designated waiting / eating area.
  • Clean spills immediately.
  • Mats are cleaned every training day.
  • Kids are paired appropriately by size, age, experience, and the needs of the class.
  • No striking in kids classes.
  • Members, parents, students, coaches, and guests are expected to treat one another and the facility respectfully.

Memberships & Billing

30 Days’ Notice

Pausing or cancelling a membership requires 30 days’ written notice.

If notice is received less than 30 days before your next scheduled payment, that payment will still process. You’ll continue to have full access to training through the period you’ve paid for, because we don’t want anyone to lose time they’ve already paid for.

How To Give Notice

Requests to pause or cancel should be submitted in writing, so there’s a clear record for both you and Ephesians Six. If you’re not sure how, just reach out and we’ll point you to the right way to submit it.

02

Membership Pauses

What A Pause Is For

Pauses are intended for legitimate situations where someone temporarily can’t train, including:

  • Injury
  • Surgery or medical recovery
  • Deployment
  • Extended travel
  • Moving or temporary relocation
  • Significant family circumstances

Tell us what’s going on. We’ll do our best to work with you.

03

Founder Pricing

Founder Pricing Stays With Active Members

Founder Pricing is protected while a membership remains continuously active.

If a membership is cancelled and the member later returns, they’ll enroll at the membership rates available at that time. A pause is different from a cancellation and follows the pause policy above.

04

Payments

Payment Information

Membership payments are processed according to the billing schedule agreed to at enrollment.

Members are responsible for keeping their payment information current.

If there’s ever a billing question, or something looks incorrect, contact us so we can review it with you.

05

Training & Safety

Clean Mats. Careful Training.

  • Mats are cleaned every training day.
  • Coaches match training partners appropriately based on size, age, experience, and the needs of the class.
  • Kids classes do not include striking.
  • Students are expected to listen to coaches and train with control.
  • Unsafe or intentionally reckless behavior isn’t acceptable.
  • Tell a coach about injuries or physical limitations before training.
06

Kids & Family Areas

Kids Room

The Kids Room is for play and rest. Please keep all food and drinks out of the Kids Room.

Food & Drink

The waiting room is the designated eating area. Families are welcome to bring what they need, snacks, meals, and drinks should just stay in the designated area rather than being carried throughout the facility.

Spills

Clean spills immediately, or let a staff member know. That’s what keeps Ephesians Six able to allow families to bring food into the building.

07

Respect For The Room

How We Treat Each Other

Ephesians Six is a family and community-focused academy. Members, parents, guests, coaches, and students are expected to:

  • Treat one another respectfully.
  • Follow coaching instructions.
  • Help keep shared spaces clean.
  • Use appropriate language and behavior around children.
  • Respect other students’ safety and training.
  • Bring concerns directly to the coaching team rather than letting issues grow.
08

Schedule & Closures

Class schedules may occasionally change for holidays, special events, weather, tournaments, or other gym needs.

Current closures and major schedule announcements are posted through Ephesians Six communication channels and the website. Check the Events page for the latest.

Not Sure How A Policy Applies To You?

Talk to us. Policies give everyone a clear starting point, but we know families, injuries, work, deployments, and life don’t always fit neatly into a box.
